Endoscopy Technician

Sonographers Medical Specialist Recruitment requires Endoscopy Technician to work in Ascot, Berkshire area.  Conduct and/or ensure the daily disinfection process of the endoscopy washer/disinfector machines.  Prepare and process flexible endoscopes as required by each depertment i.e Gastroscopes/ Cystocopes / Colonoscopes / Ureteroscopes etc.  Decontaminate and process endoscopes following the manufacturer's guidance  Ensure appropriate and safe storage of the endoscopes and associated equipment.   Conduct the weekly maintenance of the endoscopy washer-disinfectors to include cleaning and taking of water samples for microbiology using an aseptic technique.
