It would be working across any of the above sites – This could be discussed with the manager. • PACS CRIS desirable • Essential Minimum 2 years post graduate qualification • Desirable Previous senior experience. • Essential Ultrasound MSK examinations (including Upper and Lower Limbs, Soft Tissue Lumps and Bumps, Hip and Groin and Tendinopathy) • The post holder will be part of the ultrasound team in providing an effective and efficient ultrasound service. • The post holder will be responsible for planning and running their day to day list of patients. • The post holder will be required to carry out a wide range of complex clinical duties, acting on their own initiative, and using a wide range of professional, analytical and reasoning skills. • The post holder is an autonomous practitioner carrying out a wide range of complex ultrasound MSK examinations (including Upper and Lower Limbs, Soft Tissue Lumps and Bumps, Hip and Groin and Tendinopathy). They report these examinations without routine input from any other professional discipline. They are required to make decisions regarding follow-up scans to monitor conditions and also referral to the appropriate clinicians when necessary. These actions will be based on the findings of the ultrasound examinations. • The Sonographer is required to communicate highly sensitive information to patients and clinicians.
