Job Title / Assignment: Specialist Biomedical Scientist/ Biomedical Scientist (Microbiology) Department / Specialty: Microbiology Pay Band / Grade: Band 5/Band 6 Directorate: Capacity and Flow Hospital Base: Frimley Park as confirmed by requestor  Working Pattern / Hours: 37.5 hrs  08:30 AM to 5:00PM FTE Required: 4 candidates needed, please   Professional Registration/ Qualifications Required: HCPC  Specialist Skills / Training/ Experience Required: experienced B5 or B6 Biomedical Scientist Equipment - experience in Kiestra, Maldi, Urimast and Entericbio but what's more important is knowledge and skills in bacteriology such as culture and sensitivity reading.

Endoscopy Technician

Sonographers Medical Specialist Recruitment requires Endoscopy Technician to work in Ascot, Berkshire area.  Conduct and/or ensure the daily disinfection process of the endoscopy washer/disinfector machines.  Prepare and process flexible endoscopes as required by each depertment i.e Gastroscopes/ Cystocopes / Colonoscopes / Ureteroscopes etc.  Decontaminate and process endoscopes following the manufacturer's guidance  Ensure appropriate and safe storage of the endoscopes and associated equipment.   Conduct the weekly maintenance of the endoscopy washer-disinfectors to include cleaning and taking of water samples for microbiology using an aseptic technique.
