Hi there! Here at Sonographers Medical we are looking for a successful applicant to step into the shoes of a vascular scientist in a post based in Essex.

We are on the lookout for future employees to have a years worth of experience in a role akin to this one within the NHS, after completing their post graduate degree in vascular ultrasound. Therefore, we are on the pursuit of an applicant who is with the Society of Vascular Technology (SVT) and is an Accredited Vascular Scientist (AVS).

We would absolutely love for the successful applicant to be a people person, one with great interpersonal skills, allowing them to work in a team which includes staff such as nurses, radiologists, consultants and vascular surgeons. Not only will you be working proficiently as a team, you will also be responsible for giving the utmost experience for patients. This means you shall be delivering the highest degree of professionalism, giving the best experience from referral to results.

You will be expected to diagnose a range of items, such as:

• Transient Ischaemic Attacks (TIA)
• Strokes
• Aneurysms
• Peripheral Arterial Disease
• Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
• Varicose Veins

Candidates applying to this position must have:

• A post graduate degree in Vascular Ultrasound
• A years worth of post graduate experience in a position similar to this one
• An Accredited Vascular Scientist (AVS)
• Fully compliant to work – with either a right to work in the UK or a valid visa held
