SONOGRAPHERS Medical Specialist Recruitment requires an experienced Pharmacist to work in the East Grinstead area.

Our client is looking for candidates who have previously worked in the NHS and possess UK experience.

Qualifications

• MPharm in Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council).
• Post-graduate certificate in clinical pharmacy or able to demonstrate specialist knowledge within this field through practical experience. • Post-graduate diploma or MSc in clinical Pharmacy.
• Non-medical prescribing qualification.

Experience

• Experience in providing clinical pharmacy services to patients.
• Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Audit / research and development.
• Supervising staff. • Post-Registration experience as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting covering a broad range of clinical specialities.
• Experience of providing clinical pharmacy to surgical patients.
• Handling clinical trials.
• Managing staff.
• Preparation of written reports and procedures.
Knowledge

• Broad clinical knowledge of medicines.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical and patient considerations for the administration issues of medicines. • Undertaken recent training in Good Clinical Practice
Skills

• IT literacy and keyboard skills including Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to use pharmacy IT system, Trust intranet;other trust clinical IT systems and BlueTeq with training.
• Effective written and verbal English communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Able to communicate information some of which maybe complex with a wide range of people including patients with physical and mental disabilities.
• Ability to concentrate for long periods with frequent interruptions and distractions.
• Able to complete work and documentation accurately.
• Accurate dispensing, checking, transcribing and endorsement.
• Demonstrates attention to detail.
• Able to build working relationships with wide variety of staff members. • Show appropriate application of clinical knowledge and effective pharmaceutical care skills.
