Job Details

Sonographers Medical is looking for a general sonographer to work in a central London based ultrasound team.

The sonographer must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The general sonographer must possess good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with colleagues to deliver an amazing experience for private clientele. The general sonographer should be able to conduct an all inclusive range of ultrasound scans. Furthermore, they are responsible for delivering an exceptional service for the patients and leaving them content throughout the whole process – from referral to results.

Requirements

• A relevant medical ultrasound degree or diploma.
• A years worth of post graduate experience in a similar role within the United Kingdom.
• Registration with HCPC/BMUS
• Registration with SOR
• DQASS qualificati0n in order to be able to perform obstetrics as an essential prerequisite
• Fully compliant – with either a right to work in the United Kingdom or a valid visa.
• Available to work on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Performing ultrasound scans.
• Keeping systems that house patient information up to date and accurate.
• Ensuring that equipment meets the quality assurance set on a regular basis, and taking appropriate action when otherwise.
