JOB ROLE; SPECIALIST TECHNICAL AND CLINICAL PHARMACIST
BAND; 7
LOCATION; SOUTHEND

Hours; 37.5 hours each week for 5 days (Monday – Friday).
Time; 9 am – 5:00 pm 

Job Role;

• The post holder will assist the Head of Technical Services in providing Technical services training and supervision of Pharmacists.
• The post holder will work with the Chief Technician, Technical services, deputies, and other senior members of staff of other services within the Trust.
• The post holder will participate in the final release and dispensing of chemotherapy and other products prepared in the aseptic units and outsourced aseptic products.
• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Significant post-qualification Pharmacy experience, with experience working in Hospital Pharmacy Technical services.
• Knowledge of Good manufacturing practice (GMP) and ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
• The post holder will be required to handle, check and store cytotoxic agents.
• The post holder will be required to handle, check and store monoclonal antibody products.
• The post holder will be required to handle, check and store penicillin products.
