Sonographers Medical Specialist Recruitment requires a Biomedical scientist to work in London. Biochemistry clinical laboratory tasks, specific tasks to be determined when candidate’s previous experience and skills are known.

Requirements:

Essential experience: Well experienced Microbiology. Once trained the candidate will be expected to work 11:30 to 20:00 with a 1-hour break

Essential experience: HCPC registered BMS, worked in Haematology and Blood transfusion for at least 2 years and Have night shift experience covering blood transfusion.

Experiences required for the role: year of experience, automation and manual sections in biochemistry, with preference to use of Winpath, specialist manual tests would be desirable

Essential skills/experience: Must be competent in microtomy( able to cut 30 routine blocks /hour)

Working hours: Permanent night worker (3x 12.5hour shifts each week) Shift starting 8 pm and finishing 9 am.
