Biomedical Scientist (Histology)

Job Details

We are looking for the perfect candidate to work with us, Sonographers Medical, as a histology biomedical scientist. The prospective candidate in question will be responsible for processing tissue samples and complying with the high standards of not only the client and Sonographers Medical, but also to in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and UKAS 15189. Other responsibilities include undertaking microtome cutting of samples, analysis, storing and record keeping of samples. Significant experience in cutting specimen blocks on a microtome would be imperative to have for this position. Applicants must be registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

This position is based in Essex.
