Sonographers Medical is looking for a sonographer who can work on obstetric, working in an ultrasound team based in central London.

Experienced Sonographer, Obstetrics essential. Furthermore, the sonographer must be able to work in a team, which requires being able to communicate well with their team.

Responsibilities and tasks of the sonographer include

Maintaining patient bookings.
Assuring systems containing patient information are up to date and accurate.
Regular inspections of equipment, and taking appropriate courses of action.
Ensuring patients are taken care of, giving a good experience is imperative, with the sonographer giving support for across the whole process; from their referral to receiving their results.

Application requirements

Registration with HCPC/BMUS.
DQASS, in order to perform obstetrics.
Registrations with SOR.
A relevant diploma or degree in medical ultrasound is an essential prerequisite for this position. And a year’s worth of experience postgraduate, in a similar position.
Compliance – a right to work in the United Kingdom or a valid visa.
