Junior Recruiter/Administrative Assistant

3. Responsible for:
Day-to-day recruiter and Administrative duties

4. Job Summary / Purpose:
To understand and match the needs of our clients and candidates to provide quality recruitment services whilst continually meeting targets.
To assist team members with all recruiter and administrative duties

5. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Activities:
Make canvass calls and carry out mail shot activities
Meet sales/gross profit targets
Deal with speculative calls, aftercare and service calls
Build a database of candidates
Keep in contact with professional developments

Client Management:
Serve clients, identify their needs and provide feedback on success of filling jobs
Network internally and externally with clients
Benchmark for clients – salary, availability, candidate pool, industry activity
Place advertisements on website and social media sites
Presentation at Conferences, Exhibitions and meetings if required.

Candidate Management:
Collate candidate information and documentation.
Candidate control – keep in regular contact to review progress and performance
Pre-screen candidates on the telephone before their interview, conduct interviews and try to place candidates / fill jobs
Skills testing

Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of placement details.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of communications.
Maintain Locum and Client records on Company database.
Arms length management of more junior staff.

Administration duties, including identification checks, national insurance, bank details, timesheets, payroll queries, releasing time sheets on Skill stream, NHSP, tracking, typing cv’s, mail shots and reference checking.
Any other duties as required.
